The End of an Era
Years of blaming, pointing hands, self-proclaimed, or even playing victim, finally must come to an end. At the end of the day, we're the protagonist of our story, and so it applies to others. Life is more interesting because of its downs, the drama that naturally attracts humanity since forever. When we see it from far away, just like how we see our home; or even the largest building in our city from a broader pov, like a satellite view, we don’t recognize it anymore. The world keeps revolving with or without your problems.
To end an era is to finally come to the realization that life goes on. It’s not anyone’s fault. We need to go through that phase to shape who we are now. Those moments become a historical point; when we recall them with a maturer mind, is interesting. There’s always a reason for everything. The meetups, the ups, downs, and goodbyes, all happen for a reason. So when you make peace with it and dare to let it go because it’s no longer for you, you’ll reach the new era; humility. Meaning even when you hold something that feels dearest to you, at the end of the day, if God or the universe says it’s not for you, then it’s not.Instead of being angry, which I promise, wouldn’t change a thing, it’s time to face it; the legendary 5 stages of grief. As painful as it seems, as hard as it is, you’ll reach the acceptance phase eventually. If you’re going through it, hang in there. I’m the live living witness that you’ll get there. I’m with you.
And when the day comes, you’ll wake up with a more mindful state of mind. The heart that feels whole. You’re grateful for the experience, for the people, and everything that happened. You'll cherish all the happiness that you've experienced, and respect all the sorrow that you've been through. You let go of the desire of coming back and going back in the same never-ending cycle, yet you’re ready to embrace the absolutely scary future. Unclear. But you’re ready. When the time comes, you’ll see I salute you from behind all the shadows that you’ll see but don’t recognize. It’s happening. It’s right now. I am 100% rooting for you. For me.
La fin.
With love,
Dina
